Welcome! My name is Mary Hughes. I've put together this site to offer painted items I've created for your home. Everything from French Country, English Country, Victorian, Shabby, Cottage Chic and Paris Apartment decors fit well with my work. Signs advertising Parisian Fleuriste Shops, Tea Salons, Country Gardens and Willow Ware just to name a few are offered here. I take special requests too. I paint animals so if you have a pet you'd like incorporated into a sign or clock feel free to ask. I've painted ceiling fan blades especially for people to match their wallpaper or color scheme. I often find lovely old ceiling tins and decorate them for great wall hangings. Toile based paintings and signs in blue, red, green and black are offered regularly also. I work on wood, canvas and metal. Occasionally I offer china painted items when I find an item I especially want to paint. I paint gone with the wind lamps periodically too. Also available on a regular basis are note cards based on original works. Customer requests very often take my work in a new direction, so feel free to ask for what you are looking for. If I can add beauty to your home I'm happy to do it.
